we've come to the 4th wk of 2009... and its my first official entry for 2009...
last nite went to our company dinner at turnhouse road after work... everyone was feeling excited abt the company dinner.. for those who need to fetch their kids wld leave earlier... so ard 530pm, everyone haf no mood to work le.. everyone was chit chatting ard... cuz the transport wld reach our ofc at 6 sharp.. everybody shutted off their coms.. and waited downstairs.. lolx..
when we were on the bus, were lyk students gg for excursion... haha.. we were joking and laughing ard.. lolx.. the bus was filled wif our laughter... the whole journey took abt 1hr or so.. cuz the driver took a longer route.. when we finally reached the restaurant, the place was filled wif ppl... i tink mr lai oso inivited other ppl besides WLAW... cuz after tat i saw irene lai together wif the mother.. and some other lai family...
the food was served quite late.. everyone was waiting impatiently for the food cuz everyone was complaining hungry.. wahhaha.. meanwhile, saifu and his band were singing for us.. karen, brigid, uncle paul, uncle ernest, rudy, ms boh and mi were sitting at one table.. while waiting for yangling and her husband and my carebear to arrive (who arrived shortly)... the malays were sitting at another 2 tables... jeremy, ms lee, ms hoo and another big shots were sitting at another table.. together wif dennis, shane and the 2 newcomers from acc dept.. suay man to be sitted wif the dino... wahaha.. whereas, gf, joyce, laura, shuhui, annie and her family were sitted at another table..
at ard 740plus den they started to serve food.. the first dish was satay.. (huh?? they gan gan serve satay?lolx...) somemore mr lai haf to serve us personally, haha.. he kept tinking tat we gt nt enough to eat.. keep gg to the kitchen to bring somemore for us to eat... lolx.. den after tat was the cold dish.. hmmm.. tasted no too bad.. den was the prawns.. the prawns were big, i can sae.. den was the beijing duck i tink.. tasted quite nice.. den the spinach wif mushrooms.. the spinach tasted abit funny.. didnt quite lyk the taste... den was the mee goreng.. wah tat one.. tasted so spicy.. i onli managed to take a mouth.. and i buay tahan le.. den came the chilli crab... wah... woohoo.. tat the best... i waited for tat dish for veri long sia.. from the time they served the malay tables 2 dishes of crab.. lolx...but i onli managed to eat one gong.. cuz i haf difficulties opening tat gong.. wahahaha... after tat we haf this dance-and-sing competition.. which onli haf 3 contestants.. wahaha... nur and izah went up to dance.. dennis and mr lai sang 'xiao wei' and ayu's husband sang 'hotel canlifonia' den they haf tis lucky draw.. yangling, uncle paul and shuhui won tat lucky draw.. i tink still gt a few but i forgtten gt who le..
ard 10+ to 11pm the dinner ended, they haf transport to bring them back to tampines station.. can sae the dinner was quite nice.. nicer than the one we haf at 2007... the food at thr was sux.. tat time we haf was oso at changi village thr.. but the place was more ulu... lolx...
overall quite enjoyed the dinner...
today was a bz dae.. cuz gt to wash my cny clothes.. as 6 more daes will be cny le.. and i havent wash!! haiz.. den after washing the clothes... our new bed wif bed frame which we bought at 7daes arrived.. can sae the color quite match the color theme in our bedroom.. and the height wasnt too high.. hahaha...
after tat we went to eat the pig organ soup at circuit road... tasted quite nice.. the soup was nice.. tasted abit different from those i drank.. ppl who noe mi noe i dun eat pig organ rite.. but the soup was nice... lolx.. after tat went compass pt to shop for carebear's cny clothes.. but hmm he cldnt find one tat he lyks.. i saw tis bonia handbag which the pattern was diff from other bonia bags.. i lyk veri much.. he noes i lyk it.. so he bought for mi.. costs us a bomb sia.. $220 sia.. after 20% discount.. haha.. tat one will consider my cny bag loh.. wahaha.. gt time i take pix den post online.. k..
wah.. 1plus le ar.. yawns... i slpy le.. kk.. i signing off le.. tmr still need to do hse-work... gd-de-bye.... btw i tink i need change my blogskin le.. cuz tis current one nv show title... hmmm.. need to do research and do editing le.. sianz.. wait till after cny ba.. haha.. no time leh.. or someone can help mi?? lolx..
